How a Portable Ice
Rink Rental Works

A portable ice rink rental includes a custom configured set of fully-portable refrigeration, maintenance, and operational equipment to build and run your rink.

We can put a rink just about anywhere from parking lots to rooftops. Build an ice rink on any surface like dirt, grass, concrete, asphalt, or pavers.

We match you with a system that delivers perfect ice at any temperature, allowing for warm-weather skating in challenging climates.

Planning Your Ice Rink Event

We will guide you through the process of preparing your rink site, selecting the right equipment, and managing your event.

For optimal system operation, your portable ice rink rental starts with a perfectly even surface. We can level out any area by landscaping, building a decking platform, or building a sandbox.

Once you have a level base, we install your fully portable refrigeration piping, dasher boards, and chiller. Your chiller arrives on a trailer which can be parked near the rink. The chiller can also be removed from the trailer and set in place using a crane. It can be up to 100’ away from the rink for easy set-up and discreet operation.

Once the equipment is assembled, we charge the system with heat transfer fluid, startup the chiller, and start making ice.

Finally, we install your ticket and rental booths, concessions, guest facilities, audio-visual equipment, and security systems to make sure you’re ready for opening day.
